Khandi Alexander is a New York born dancer, choreographer and film and television actress who now lives in Los Angeles. She is well known for her starring roles in the mini-series The Corner and the series NewsRadio and ER. She has guest-starred in Law & Order: SVU, NYPD Blue and La Femme Nikita.She also appeared First Born, Rain, Dark Blue, There's Something About Mary, Sugar Hill, Menace II
